Lent, The Cross, and Books

Lent, the 40 day period of preparation for Easter Sunday, begins this year on Wednesday, March 9th.  During those 40 days, I will be immersing myself in books that examine the central pillar of the Christian faith:  The cross of Jesus Christ.  Below are some of the books I will be reading; some will be first time reads, others will be 3rd or 4th time re-reads.  In any event, I commend the time of Lent to you and hope you might look into some of these books for your own edification.  You have some time to look over and purchase one or two or all of them.  You will be blessed for it.
